Description

The cash that a company generates after accounting for cash outflows to support its operations and maintain its capital assets. It is calculated by subtracting capital expenditures from operating cash flow. Free cash flow is a measure of a company’s profitability and financial performance that excludes non-cash expenses and changes in working capital. It shows how much cash a company has available to repay creditors, pay dividends and interest to investors, or invest in new projects.
