Description

The money an entity earns from lending funds to others. It is a revenue that does not relate to the main business activities and appears on the income statement. It covers any type of lending, such as deposits, bonds, loans, and so on. It also includes some adjustments for debt value changes, impairment losses, and factoring income. It does not include pension plan interest income or other finance income or inflation effects if they are reported separately.
