President Donald Trump announced that more than $270 billion in corporate agreements and sales have been finalized between American and international companies following high-level meetings with foreign governments, including a state visit to South Korea. The deals span aviation, energy, manufacturing, technology, and infrastructure.

Korean Air placed an order for 103 Boeing aircraft valued at $36.2 billion, the largest single component of the announcements. GE Aerospace secured separate engine deals totaling $13.7 billion. Administration officials said the aviation agreements are expected to support significant U.S. employment tied to manufacturing and maintenance.

Technology investments were highlighted by an announcement that Amazon would commit $5 billion to expand cloud infrastructure in South Korea. Energy and industrial agreements include projects for U.S. energy infrastructure, semiconductor production, maritime modernization, naval vessel construction, and rare earths processing through partnerships such as POSCO International and ReElement Technologies.

A senior administration official characterized the results as evidence of a transactional approach to economic diplomacy, saying these company-specific arrangements reflect direct engagement between the White House, corporate leaders, and foreign governments. Critics warned such a deal-first strategy may raise questions about long-term market stability and oversight.

When contacted, Boeing confirmed the Korean Air order but declined to provide implementation details. Amazon did not immediately respond to requests for comment about the cloud investment.

Combined with parallel agreements announced with other countries, the administration said the total value of corporate arrangements tied to recent diplomatic engagement exceeds a trillion dollars. That figure supersedes earlier statements that focused on the $270 billion announced in a single set of deals.

Correction: An earlier version of this article misstated the aggregate total of recent deal announcements. The correct aggregate figure tied to recent diplomatic efforts is in excess of a trillion dollars.
