Autoliv Inc develops, manufactures and supplies automotive passive safety systems to original equipment manufacturers worldwide. The company produces a comprehensive range of products including frontal, side, curtain and knee airbag systems with advanced inflator technology; seatbelt systems featuring pretensioners, load limiters and integrated restraint mechanisms; steering wheels integrated with airbag modules and driver interface features; passive safety electronics; pedestrian protection systems; and mobility safety solutions for commercial vehicles and two-wheelers. Autoliv operates approximately 60 production facilities across 25 countries with 13 technical centers and over 65,000 employees; it generates annual sales of about $10.4 billion as of 2024 and maintains an estimated 43% global market share in passive safety systems. Founded in 1953 as a seatbelt pioneer in Sweden and formed through the 1997 merger of Autoliv AB and Morton International's Automotive Safety Products division, Autoliv Inc is headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, and incorporated in Delaware, United States with shares listed on the New York Stock Exchange under ticker ALV and Nasdaq Stockholm.
