Business
Pujiang International Group Limited (2060.HK) is an investment holding company engaged in the manufacture, sale, and installation of bridge cables and prestressed materials for infrastructure construction projects, primarily serving long-span suspension bridges, cable-stayed bridges, and architectural structures in the People's Republic of China. The company operates through two main segments: Cable Business, offering prefabricated parallel wire strands, slings for main cable strands of suspension bridges, cable-stayed cables for projects including tied arch bridges, mast towers, and roofs, as well as steel cables for building structures such as stadiums, space structures, membrane structures, and exhibition centers; and Prestressed Materials Business, providing rare earth coated prestressed products, plain surface prestressed products, and galvanized prestressed products used in manufacturing and construction, supplemented by installation services under the Pujiang Cable and Ossen brands. Founded in 1989 as Shanghai Pujiang Cable Factory and headquartered in Shanghai, China, the company has participated in over 800 bridge projects globally, including the 1915 Canakkale Bridge, San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge, Humen Second Bridge, and Xiluodu Bridge, establishing it as China's largest provider of bridge cables for super-long-span bridges. In recent developments, Pujiang International completed the acquisition of the remaining 34.1% stake in its subsidiary Ossen Innovation Co., Ltd. in September 2021 for approximately $11.5 million, making Ossen a wholly owned entity and delisting it from Nasdaq; the company also relocated its Hong Kong office as a strategic operational adjustment.
