Formerly known as Inke Limited, it listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in 2018 as the first entertainment live-streaming stock and rebranded to Inkeverse Group Limited in June 2022 to reflect its evolution into an all-scenario new social platform; recent developments include strategic entry into AI technologies such as AIGC for video, drawing, and digital humans in 2022-2024, first-mover positioning in the short drama market via premium content production, overseas product launches in emerging regions since 2023 with Southeast Asia as the core market, holding of cryptocurrencies valued at approximately RMB173 million as intangible assets by end-2024 to prepare for Web3.0 and blockchain opportunities, increased capital expenditures to RMB328.7 million in 2024 primarily for property, equipment, and intangibles, and sustained high-quality development with revenue stability at RMB6.85 billion, gross profit margin expansion to 48.8%, and average monthly active users of 20.8 million across major products despite market challenges. The company employs around 1,416 full-time staff, with approximately 50% in R&D, and operates across live streaming, social, playlet, and overseas segments to drive diversified growth.
