Business
Adrad Holdings Limited is an Australia-based company specializing in the design, manufacture, and distribution of heat transfer solutions and automotive aftermarket parts. It operates primarily through two segments: Heat Transfer Solutions and Distribution. The Heat Transfer Solutions segment designs and manufactures original equipment and aftermarket heat exchangers, including radiators, oil coolers, charge-air coolers, and condensers for mobile and stationary applications serving road transport and heavy vehicles, mining, power generation, data centers, and rail industries. The Distribution segment imports and distributes radiators, mobile and stationary heat exchange products, air conditioning products, and a variety of automotive parts for automotive and industrial markets across Australasia and other global regions including Asia, the Middle East, North America, South America, Europe, and Africa. Established in 1985 and headquartered in Beverley, South Australia, Adrad is recognized as one of Australia's largest suppliers of aftermarket engine cooling and air conditioning products. Recent significant developments include the company’s strategic exit from New Zealand operations effective March 2024 to refocus on core markets, and the appointment of Richard Macdonald as CEO following the resignation of the previous CEO in mid-2024. Adrad has expanded its product offerings through a partnership with TMD Friction to launch a new range of braking products. The company continues to invest in product development, notably in bespoke engineered heat transfer solutions for large above-ground mining vehicles and data centers, targeting increased customer demand across Australian and Asian markets. Additionally, Adrad focuses on improving distribution network efficiency, freight management, and e-commerce systems while exploring growth opportunities in sectors such as crash repair. Its operations emphasize innovation and expanding revenue from heat transfer solutions and aftermarket distribution to maintain growth in a competitive industrial machinery sector. Adrad Holdings serves customers worldwide, deriving significant revenue from Australasia with increasing contributions from international markets. With around 500 employees, the company operates a national distribution network of warehouses carrying extensive inventories of both Australian-made and imported heat exchange and automotive parts. Its long-standing industry presence and strategic initiatives position it as a key player in specialty industrial machinery focused on thermal management for multiple heavy-duty sectors.
