iShares eb.rexx Government Germany 10.5+yr UCITS ETF (DE) (EXX6.DE) is an exchange-traded fund that seeks to track the performance of the eb.rexx Government Germany 10.5+ index, which comprises Euro-denominated German government bonds with a remaining maturity of at least 10.5 years that are tradable on the Eurex Bonds platform and have an outstanding issue volume of at least EUR 4 billion. The ETF employs a physical, optimized sampling replication methodology, investing directly in a representative selection of the index constituents, which consist exclusively of investment-grade fixed-rate bonds issued by the Federal Republic of Germany, including such securities as Germany (Federal Republic of) 4%, 2.5%, 1.25%, and 4.75% coupon bonds; it distributes income at least annually, has a total expense ratio of 0.16% p.a., and maintains a portfolio characterized by an average weighted maturity of approximately 19.5 years, effective duration of around 15.55 years, and typically 17 holdings. Domiciled in Germany and managed by BlackRock Asset Management Deutschland AG, a subsidiary of BlackRock, Inc., the fund targets institutional and retail investors seeking long-duration exposure to the German sovereign bond market within a UCITS-compliant structure. Launched on September 28, 2005, and listed on Xetra, the ETF operates primarily in the Eurozone fixed income segment, with assets under management of approximately EUR 67-70 million as of late 2025; it is registered for sale in countries including Germany, Austria, France, and the Netherlands. The eb.rexx indices are administered by STOXX Ltd., a Deutsche Börse Group company. No major strategic changes, such as acquisitions, partnerships, funding rounds, new product launches, or reorganizations, have been reported for the ETF in the last 1-2 years; it continues to operate steadily amid fluctuations in German bond yields and market volatility, with recent performance reflecting a 1-year total return of approximately -10.74% and a 12-month trailing yield of 2.06% as of September 2025.
