In recent developments, L'Oréal announced a landmark €4 billion strategic partnership with Kering on October 19, 2025, encompassing the acquisition of the House of Creed, 50-year exclusive licenses for Gucci, Bottega Veneta and Balenciaga beauty and fragrance products, and a 50/50 joint venture for luxury wellness opportunities, with closing expected in the first half of 2026; the company completed acquisitions of premium haircare brand Color Wow and UK skincare brand Medik8 in September 2025, consolidating them into its Professional Products and Luxe divisions, respectively. L'Oréal also plans to more than double its business in India over the next few years through factory expansions and regional exports, positioning the market as a key growth hub, and announced executive changes effective January 2026, including Alexis Perakis-Valat as President North America and new leadership for Consumer Products and Europe. The company's 37 international brands target diverse consumer segments from mass-market to luxury and professional users, with strong momentum in emerging markets like India, Brazil, Thailand and the GCC, alongside recoveries in North America and mainland China.
