Lagardère S.A. operates as an international media and retail group focused on publishing and travel retail, with core divisions encompassing Lagardère Publishing, the world's third-largest book publisher for trade and educational markets offering over 15,000 original titles annually alongside board games, premium stationery, and digital formats; Lagardère Travel Retail, the third-largest travel retail operator globally and number two in airports, providing travel essentials through brands like Relay, duty free and fashion via Aelia Duty Free, and dining options including So Coffee across more than 4,900 points of sale in nearly 300 airports and 700 rail and urban stations; and other activities such as Lagardère Live Entertainment for concert production and venue management, Lagardère News including Le Journal du Dimanche and Elle brand licensing, Lagardère Radio with Europe 1, Europe 2, and RFM, and Lagardère Paris Racing sports club. The company, founded in 1992 and headquartered in Paris's 16th arrondissement, employs over 33,000 people and conducts operations in more than 45 countries across five continents, with significant revenue contributions from France, the European Union, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Asia-Pacific regions.
