Business
Norcros plc is the United Kingdom and Ireland's leading bathroom products group that designs, manufactures, sources and supplies sustainable, design-led bathroom and kitchen products including showers, shower enclosures and trays, taps and brassware, wall panels, accessories, tiles, adhesives and plumbing materials; its UK and Ireland portfolio encompasses the Triton, Merlyn, Grant Westfield, VADO, Croydex and Abode brands serving trade, retail, online and commercial channels with over 1,000 blue-chip customers; in South Africa, it operates as the second-largest bathroom products group through Tile Africa, TAL, Johnson Tiles South Africa and House of Plumbing, providing ceramic tiles, tiling installation products, sanitaryware and plumbing solutions via an integrated model from production to retail. Founded originally in 1901 and relisted on the London Stock Exchange in 2007, Norcros plc maintains headquarters in Wilmslow, Cheshire, United Kingdom, with primary operations in the UK, Ireland and South Africa alongside selected export markets including recent expansion into Scandinavia and Central Europe. Recent developments include the October 2025 completion of its £46 million acquisition of Fibo Holding AS, a Norwegian wall panel specialist that enhances earnings and provides a platform for geographic growth; the May 2024 sale of Johnson Tiles UK to its management team; the June 2025 shutdown of manufacturing at Johnson Tiles South Africa following a strategic review; and robust half-year results to October 2025 with revenue of £184.3 million, up 0.8% on constant currency, underlying operating profit up 7.4% to £21.9 million and operating margin expansion to 11.9%.
