LS ELECTRIC Co., Ltd. manufactures and sells electric power equipment, systems, and smart energy solutions in South Korea and internationally. Founded in 1974 and headquartered in Anyang-si, South Korea, the company operates through electric power, automation, and metalworking segments; it was formerly known as LSIS Co., Ltd. and changed its name in 2020. Core products and services include smart power solutions such as energy management systems, supervisory control and data acquisition systems, distribution management systems, distribution control systems, micro grid systems, and diagnosis solutions; power transmission systems comprising substations, flexible AC transmission systems, high voltage direct current solutions, gas insulated switchgears, and power transformers; photovoltaic systems; low- and medium-voltage devices including protective relays, measuring devices, and DC components; power distribution systems such as low-voltage switchgears, motor control centers, main distribution boards, power centers, transformers, busway systems, fault current limiters, arc protection systems, metal clad switchgears, cubicle gas insulated switchgears, solid insulated switchgears, dry air insulated switchgears, ring main units, and compact air insulated switchgears; automation solutions featuring programmable logic controllers, servo/motion systems, human machine interfaces, inverters, and gearboxes; and smart railway solutions including signaling and power supply systems; the metal segment provides copper and stainless pipes. In October 2025, LS ELECTRIC announced a global strategic partnership with Honeywell to jointly develop and market hardware and software solutions for power management and distribution in data centers and buildings, leveraging Honeywell Forge AI platform for predictive maintenance and energy efficiency; the company also operates a UL-listed manufacturing facility in Texas for switchboards, panelboards, and cast coil transformers to support North American expansion.
