Business
Curexo Inc. engages in the development, manufacture, and sale of advanced medical robots and related medical devices primarily in South Korea and internationally. The company operates through three main divisions: Medical Robot, Implant, and Trading. Its core products include surgical robots such as CUVIS-joint, an artificial joint surgery robot platform; CUVIS-spine, a navigation-based spine surgery robot; and Morning Walk S200, a gait rehabilitation robot system. It also produces the InMotion Arm robotic rehabilitation device for upper limb recovery and manufactures as well as markets artificial joint prostheses. Curexo supplies medical devices to hospitals and agencies domestically and globally. Founded in 1992 and headquartered in Seoul, South Korea, the company has expanded its geographic reach into new overseas markets such as Japan, Taiwan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, and India, stabilizing its international revenue base. In recent years, Curexo has made significant strategic advances to accelerate global market penetration. In 2024, it obtained regulatory approvals and manufacturing licenses allowing it to commercialize its core products in Japan and India and is pursuing U.S. FDA and European CE certifications for its CUVIS-joint platform, including hip surgery applications. The company has formed strategic partnerships including a distribution agreement with THINK Surgical to co-commercialize the CUVIS-Joint platform outside THINK's distribution territories, especially targeting the U.S. and Vietnam markets. Curexo also partnered with KYOCERA Group for exclusive distribution in Japan and collaborated with Microsoft to integrate artificial intelligence and augmented reality technologies to enhance surgical robot capabilities. The company achieved strong financial performance with 80% growth in medical robot revenue in 2024, turned profitable in Q3 2025 with operating profit of KRW 9.7 billion, and continues investing in R&D to maintain leadership in surgical robot and rehabilitation device development. Curexo leverages its robotic platforms to cater to degenerative arthritis and spinal disorder treatments and rehabilitation, providing precision surgical solutions and recovery aids, with a focus on enhancing surgical accuracy, user convenience, and patient outcomes. Its medical robot systems support knee and hip joint replacements, spine surgeries, and rehabilitation therapies. The company’s ongoing strategic expansion, diversified product portfolio, and technological innovation position it as a leading global medical robotics company serving hospitals and healthcare providers worldwide.
