Tianneng Power International Limited engages in the research, development, manufacture, and sale of power batteries primarily for the electric vehicle market, including lead-acid motive batteries used in electric bicycles, tricycles, and pure electric cars, as well as lithium-ion batteries and energy storage batteries for renewable energy applications such as wind and solar power systems. The company also produces electrode plates, recycled lead products, battery-related accessories, and metal materials, providing integrated solutions across electric light vehicle power batteries, automotive start-stop batteries (including EFB and AGM technologies), 3C batteries, and energy storage reserve batteries. Founded in 1986 and headquartered in Wan Chai, Hong Kong, Tianneng operates mainly in China with a growing international presence, especially in Europe and North America, targeting the electric vehicle, industrial, commercial, and household energy storage markets. Recent significant developments include strategic partnerships with financial institutions involving a RMB 2 billion bond issuance, expansion of production capabilities in lithium-ion batteries reflecting a strategic shift towards advanced battery technologies, and increased international market penetration with overseas revenues rising. The company also continues to invest in research and development of new battery technologies such as sodium-ion and hydrogen fuel cells, and launched new product lines of smart batteries aimed at enhancing electric vehicle market share and customers’ engagement. Tianneng Power International remains a leading new energy power battery group combining manufacturing, recycling of waste batteries, and intelligent green manufacturing systems under its evolving business model to meet global renewable energy and electric mobility demands.
