Business
ISB Corporation engages in software development, systems consulting, and systems operation services primarily in Japan. The company operates through two main segments: Information Service and Security System. Its Information Service segment develops embedded software for mobile devices, medical and onboard systems; conducts mobile equipment testing; develops core system software; designs, constructs, operates, and maintains data center and cloud infrastructure; develops packaged system operations service products and provides maintenance services; and sells equipment related to software development. The Security System segment manufactures, sells, and maintains access control systems, electric locks, and numeric keypads. ISB also offers financial systems, AI solutions, embedded fonts, and cross-platform software frameworks such as Qt for multi-device and embedded device application development. Founded in 1970, ISB Corporation is headquartered in Minato, Tokyo, Japan. Recent major changes include a corporate reorganization involving the acquisition of part of the business from its consolidated subsidiary SSS Corporation and the transfer of part of Computer House Corporation's business to another subsidiary, TAKES Co., Ltd., aimed at improving management efficiency and strengthening regional strategies. Additionally, ISB rebranded and relocated its subsidiaries SSS Corporation and Computer House Corporation to Hokkaido ISB Corporation and Kyushu ISB Corporation, respectively, to boost regional presence and brand visibility. Financially, ISB reported increased net sales in the first nine months of 2025 but faced declines in operating, ordinary profits, and net profit compared to the previous year, while maintaining a stable financial position. The company is focused on expanding its business through partnerships, product development, and enhancing its recurring income portfolio in access control and security systems. ISB targets business, industrial, public sector, and consumer markets with products and services tailored for mobile, medical, automotive, and enterprise applications. Its offerings extend to system solutions for central and local government agencies and smart device and application development. The company supports infrastructure work including network/server construction, server software development, data center housing, operation services, and engineer dispatch, positioning itself as a comprehensive provider in the technology and information services industry within Japan. This comprehensive approach and recent strategic moves underscore ISB Corporation's commitment to enhancing business operation efficiencies, expanding multi-business growth, and strengthening regional cooperation in its home market.
