BetterLife Pharma Inc. (CSE:BETR) is a biotechnology company focused on developing and commercializing non-hallucinogenic psychedelic derivatives and related compounds to treat neuro-psychiatric, neurological disorders and viral infections. The company offers BETR-001 (2-bromo-LSD or E559), a proprietary oral capsule second-generation LSD derivative in IND-enabling studies for major depressive disorder, anxiety disorder, neuropathic pain, treatment-resistant depression, PTSD, cluster headaches, traumatic brain injury and migraines; BETR-002 (dihydrohonokiol-B or DHH-B), an oral capsule derivative of hydrohonokiol targeting benzodiazepine dependency, anxiety and neurodegenerative disorders; and interferon-based candidates including MM-003, which completed Phase II trials for COVID-19 and respiratory viral infections, and MM-001, a topical cream that completed Phase II trials for HPV-induced cervical intraepithelial neoplasia, through its wholly owned subsidiary MedMelior Pharmaceuticals Inc. BetterLife Pharma Inc. was founded in 2002, changed its name from Pivot Pharmaceuticals Inc. in December 2019, and maintains headquarters at 1275 West 6th Avenue, Suite 300, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada V6H 1A6. The company conducts operations and strategic relationships in Canada, the United States and Switzerland, with common shares listed on the Canadian Securities Exchange, OTCQB and Frankfurt exchanges. Recent developments include closing private placements and convertible debentures totaling approximately $1.168 million to advance BETR-001 development; appointing Daniel Carcillo, a traumatic brain injury survivor and advocate, as corporate advisor on November 25, 2025, to support BETR-001 indications in TBI, cluster headaches and migraines; and advancing IND-enabling studies and presentations at conferences such as the 2024 Bloom Burton & Co. Healthcare Investor Conference.
