Founded in 1985 as a joint venture with GEA Energietechnik GmbH, Germany, and renamed BGR Energy Systems Limited in 2007, the company is headquartered in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, with manufacturing facilities in Andhra Pradesh and operations focused primarily on the Indian market, serving power utilities, oil and gas companies, refineries, and industrial clients.
