Genesis Minerals Limited Genesis Minerals Limited (ASX: GMD) is an Australia-based gold mining company focused exclusively on the Leonora District in Western Australia, engaging in gold mining, project development, and exploration activities. The company operates Leonora Operations and Laverton Operations, including the Ulysses Gold Project and Laverton Gold Project; it produces and sells gold and silver, primarily gold, through open-pit and underground mining supported by its in-house Genesis Mining Services division, which provides onsite labour, maintenance, drill and blast services utilizing equipment such as Komatsu dump trucks, Hitachi excavators, and CAT dozers. Headquartered in Perth, Western Australia, with approximately 603 employees, Genesis Minerals targets mid-tier production growth toward 400,000 ounces per annum under its ASPIRE 400 strategy, serving gold markets domestically and internationally. In June 2025, Genesis Minerals completed a transformative A$250 million acquisition of the Laverton Gold Project from Focus Minerals Limited, adding approximately 4 million ounces of gold resources located 30 kilometers from its existing 3Mtpa Laverton mill, enabling operational synergies, increased throughput from 150,000 ounces in FY25 to 325,000 ounces by FY29, and enhanced gold ounces per share without impairing liquidity, which stood at around A$400 million post-transaction.
