- Hyundai Motor India Ltd. manufactures and sells passenger vehicles and related parts in India and for export. The company, a wholly owned subsidiary of Hyundai Motor Company of South Korea and founded in 1996 with headquarters in Gurugram, Haryana, offers a broad lineup of models including hatchbacks such as Grand i10 NIOS, i20 and i20 N Line; sedans such as AURA and VERNA; SUVs such as EXTER, VENUE, VENUE N Line, CRETA, CRETA N Line, CRETA Electric, ALCAZAR and TUCSON; and the all-electric IONIQ 5, along with after-sales services, financing, leasing, maintenance, roadside assistance, insurance broking, engineering support, warranty coverage and research assistance in telematics, IT security and autonomous systems. In recent developments, the company completed its initial public offering in 2024, announced a ₹45,000 crore investment plan through FY2030 to expand manufacturing capacity by 250,000 units at a new Pune facility, enhance R&D and localization, and launch 26 new products including seven new nameplates, eight hybrid models, six CNG variants, five electric vehicles such as an India-specific EV SUV, and entries into MPV and off-road SUV segments; it also appointed Tarun Garg as managing director and CEO effective January 2026, targeting revenue of ₹1 lakh crore, 15% market share and 30% rural sales contribution by FY2030.
