Business
Bollinger Innovations, Inc. (NASDAQ: BINI) manufactures, sells, and distributes commercial electric vehicles in the United States. The company offers Class 1-4 electric vehicles, including the Mullen ONE EV cargo van for urban delivery; the Mullen THREE EV cab chassis truck for urban utility and last-mile applications; and the Bollinger B4 all-electric Class 4 chassis cab truck, featuring a 158-kWh battery pack, payload exceeding 7,300 pounds, and average range of 185 miles; as well as battery system technology and related parts and maintenance services. Bollinger Innovations operates from headquarters in Brea, California, with U.S.-based manufacturing in Tunica, Mississippi, and serial production of the B4 at Roush Industries in Livonia, Michigan. Founded in 2014 as a successor to CODA Automotive and Mullen Motor Cars, the company serves commercial fleets in delivery, logistics, municipal, and vocational markets through a nationwide dealer network exceeding 50 locations, including Papé Kenworth, Pritchard EV, National Auto Fleet Group, Ziegler Truck Group, Range Truck Group, Eco Auto, and Randy Marion Auto Group, with coverage in West Coast, Midwest, Pacific Northwest, New England, and Mid-Atlantic regions. In a major strategic shift, Bollinger Innovations, formerly Mullen Automotive Inc., completed a corporate rebranding and name change effective July 28, 2025, alongside a ticker symbol update from MULN to BINI, unifying its commercial EV brands and products under one identity. The company launched B4 production on September 16, 2024, established partnerships including Our Next Energy for battery packs, Syncron for warranty administration, Amerit Fleet Solutions for mobile service, and EO Charging for infrastructure; and in October 2025 signed an agreement with Ariel Fleet Holdings for 30 Mullen THREE trucks and four Mullen ONE vans to supply FedEx Independent Service Providers, Advanced Logistics Systems, and Springbok Holdings. Bollinger Motors, a majority-owned subsidiary since September 2022, supports its Class 4 truck development and dealer expansion.
