Business
INFICON Holding AG develops, manufactures and markets instrumentation, sensor technologies and advanced software solutions for gas analysis, measurement and control in vacuum processes. The company offers leak detectors and service tools for HVAC/R and automotive applications; chemical detection and monitoring products; quartz crystal microbalances; thin film deposition systems; residual gas analyzers and mass spectrometers; RF sensing technologies; intelligent manufacturing software; vacuum gauges, controllers, components and feedthroughs; and toxic chemical analysis instruments for emergency response, security and environmental monitoring. Its products serve semiconductor fabrication, thin film coatings for optics, displays, solar cells and LEDs; air conditioning and refrigeration; automotive manufacturing; life sciences, research, aerospace, packaging and other industrial vacuum processes. Founded in 2000 and headquartered in Bad Ragaz, Switzerland, INFICON operates manufacturing facilities in Europe, the United States and China, with subsidiaries across Asia-Pacific, Europe and North America. In January 2024, the company acquired all assets of FabTime Inc., a smart manufacturing software specialist, to strengthen its semiconductor Industry 4.0 offerings; its annual general meeting in April 2025 approved a share split, dividend distribution and board re-elections amid stable preliminary 2024 sales of USD 671 million.
