The company offers international tourism and aviation through flights and vacation packages to destinations in the Mediterranean, Europe, and Asia; domestic tourism and aviation including vacation packages to Eilat and flights connecting Eilat, Ben Gurion Airport, and Haifa; inbound tourism services encompassing land services, car rentals, hotels, and tours; and maintenance services; it also provides one-stop-shop solutions for flights, hotels, transfers, and ground services, operating from its headquarters in Giv'atayim or Raanana, Israel, where it was founded in 1961. In recent developments, Israir pursues acquisition of two Airbus A330 widebody aircraft for $80 million to expand routes to Asia and transatlantic destinations like New York starting March 2026 amid competition from Wizz Air; progresses staged purchase of the remaining stake in Cypriot MRO provider Bird Aviation, paying €2.3 million initially for 25% to reach 75% ownership with rights to additional maintenance services; terminates long-running negotiations to acquire Czech carrier Smartwings in June 2025 due to revised terms; and reports Q3 2025 revenue of $258.3 million with positive EPS of $0.13, reflecting passenger traffic growth exceeding 2 million internationally.
