SIS Limited (SIS.NS) is an Indian multinational security and related services provider that offers comprehensive solutions in security services, facility management, and cash logistics across India, Australia, Singapore, and New Zealand. Founded in 1985 and headquartered in New Delhi, the company, formerly known as Security and Intelligence Services (India) Limited until its name change in January 2021, operates through key segments including Security Solutions India, Security Solutions International, Facility Management, and Cash Logistics; its security offerings encompass manned guarding, training, physical security, paramedic and emergency response, loss prevention, asset protection, mobile patrolling, fire detection and suppression, maritime and aviation security, perimeter protection, command and control centers, access control, closed-circuit television, intrusion detection, AI-enabled video surveillance, drone-based surveillance, vehicle tracking, and SaaS-based software solutions; facility management services include cleaning, housekeeping, pest control, office support, gardening, mechanical and electrical maintenance, plumbing, preventive maintenance, repairs, heating ventilation and air-conditioning, energy management, smart surface disinfection, antimicrobial treatments, airborne infection control, and business process outsourcing under brands such as RARE Hospitality, OneSIS, and DTSS; cash logistics under SIS Prosegur and SISCO provide cash-in-transit, retail cash management including doorstep banking, ATM cash replenishment and first-level maintenance, cash processing outsourcing, storage transportation and delivery of bullion and jewellery, end-to-end cash management for retailers and banks, transportation of valuable non-cash items, and alarm monitoring with electronic security device installation; the company serves diverse sectors such as power, telecom, transportation, aviation, ports, logistics, real estate, townships, educational institutions, healthcare, banking financial services and insurance, and retail with operations spanning 28 Indian states and 8 union territories plus international markets, employing over 300,000 personnel and managing hundreds of thousands of sites through India's largest command center and digital platforms like iOPS, ARK, and MySIS app. Recent developments include the announcement in September 2025 of its largest-ever acquisition, the phased purchase of APS Group (AP Securitas) for Rs 600-650 crore, starting with a 51% stake followed by the remaining 49% over three years subject to performance milestones, aimed at doubling India security revenue through integration of 40,000 employees and 100 branches to enhance scale in BFSI and logistics segments; additionally, SIS acquired Agarsha as part of ongoing consolidation efforts, with the APS deal funded by internal accruals expected to push group revenue toward Rs 15,000 crore in FY26 while strengthening its position in the fragmented Rs 1 lakh crore private security industry.
