Supreme Power Equipment Limited (NSE: SUPREMEPWR) manufactures and supplies a wide range of power and distribution transformers in India. The company offers power transformers up to 25 MVA/132 kV (expanding to 160 MVA), distribution transformers, energy efficient transformers, windmill transformers, solar/inverter duty transformers, generator transformers, converter and rectifier transformers, isolation transformers, oil-cooled transformers and tanks, as well as isolators; it also provides services including erection, commissioning, testing of high-tension lines, electrical distribution panels, and maintenance and repair of related equipment. Founded in 1994 and headquartered at No. 55, SIDCO Industrial Estate, Thirumazhisai, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, the company primarily serves power utilities, turnkey contractors, end clients in renewable energy, steel, and industrial sectors across India, with a 90% stake in partnership firm Danya Electric Company. In recent developments, Supreme Power Equipment secured multiple orders from Tamil Nadu Power Distribution Corporation Limited (TNPDCL) in May 2025 totaling over Rs 16 Cr for distribution transformers, followed by additional TNPDCL orders worth Rs 4.19 Cr in December 2025 and a Rs 14.71 Cr order for six 20 MVA 66/11kV transformers; it reported robust H1 FY26 results with consolidated revenue of Rs 75.36 Cr (up 29%) and net profit of Rs 9.41 Cr, alongside expansions into Telangana and the steel industry, a new plant operational by December 2025 doubling capacity to 9,000 MVA, and a Rs 60.90 Cr order from NLC. The company invests Rs 70-75 Cr in capacity enhancement to support 10-30% annual revenue growth, maintains a consolidated order book exceeding Rs 105 Cr, and adheres to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and OSHAS 45001:2018 standards.
