Business
Patterson Metals Corp. Patterson Metals Corp. (formerly Trench Metals Corp.) is a Canada-based mineral exploration company focused on uranium properties in the prolific Athabasca Basin region of Saskatchewan. The company owns the Carter Lake Uranium Project spanning 691 hectares on the western flank of the Athabasca Basin within the Carter Lake Corridor, parallel to the Patterson Lake Corridor hosting major deposits by NexGen Energy and Fission Uranium; it holds options to acquire 100% interests in the Higginson Lake Uranium Project covering approximately 5,900 hectares northeast of Stony Rapids with two historic drill-indicated reserves totaling 4.8 million pounds U3O8, and the Spreckley Lake Uranium Project comprising 1,385 hectares adjacent to Skyharbor Resources' Pluto Bay Project. Headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, and founded in 2019, Patterson Metals targets high-grade uranium discovery and development through a vertically integrated strategy from exploration to potential production, leveraging a team with over 50 years of combined expertise in Athabasca uranium exploration. In September 2024, the company underwent a one-for-10 share consolidation and name change from Trench Metals Corp. to Patterson Metals Corp. to reflect its strategic evolution; it previously completed the acquisition of the Carter Lake Uranium Project in September 2023 and advanced prospective programs for Higginson Lake.
