Under Armour, Inc. Under Armour, Inc. develops, markets, and distributes branded performance apparel, footwear, and accessories worldwide for men, women, and youth athletes. The company offers moisture-wicking compression shirts and prototypes such as HeatGear, ColdGear, AllseasonGear, TurfGear, and StreetGear; athletic shoes including running, training, basketball, cleated sports, and innovative lines like Velociti Elite, Infinite Elite, and UA Shadow; apparel encompassing t-shirts, jackets, hoodies, pants, leggings, shorts, athletic bras, and uniforms for American football, basketball, soccer, baseball, and other sports; plus accessories like bags, gloves, caps, protective gear, and performance hats such as UA StealthForm. Under Armour operates through segments including North America, EMEA, Asia-Pacific, Latin America, and Connected Fitness with digital subscriptions via MapMyFitness, MyFitnessPal, and Endomondo apps; targets athletes across training, competition, and recovery with products sold in over 140 countries through more than 445 owned brand and factory houses and 160 retail outlets; founded in 1996 by Kevin Plank and headquartered in Baltimore, Maryland. Recent developments include the expansion of its fiscal 2025 restructuring plan with up to $255 million in charges, including $95 million additional costs and plans to separate the Curry Brand basketball business generating $100-120 million in fiscal 2026 revenue; long-term partnerships such as becoming the NFL's official footwear and glove partner, official uniform provider for Unrivaled women's basketball league and Georgia Tech athletics starting July 2026, and expanded wholesale alliance with BSN Sports for team sports uniforms from January 2026; product launches like Velociti Elite 3 running platform, UA HALO womenswear, and GLDN CHLD football cleats; and athlete endorsements with Stephen Curry, Anthony Joshua, Justin Jefferson, and emerging talents across football, basketball, and golf.
