- Veljan Denison Limited manufactures hydraulic pumps, motors, valves, and custom-built power packs and manifold blocks for fluid power applications. The company offers vane pumps including single, double, triple, and drive train variants such as VTXB, VT6B, VT6C, VT7B, and VT67 series; gear pumps; hydraulic motors; pressure control, check, seat, flow control, directional control, stack, and mobile DC valves; hydraulic filters; power packs; manifolds; system savers; hydraulic cylinders; pneumatic products; and marine equipment comprising steering gear systems, fin stabiliser systems, hydraulic power units, control systems, and test facilities. It serves diverse sectors including agriculture, civil engineering, marine, mining, petrochemical, machine tools, and construction through a broad customer base with repeat orders, primarily in India and internationally via exports and group company Veljan Hydrair Limited. Founded in 1973 as a joint venture with Denison Hydraulics of the USA and headquartered in Hyderabad, India, with manufacturing facilities in Patancheru, the company maintains an in-house research and development wing for precision engineering components and operates as part of the Veljan group following its separation from Hagglunds of Sweden in 1994 and name change from Denison Hydraulics India Limited in April 2010. In August 2022, Veljan Denison acquired 100% of Adan Holding Limited for ₹13.90 crore, a UK-based hydraulic equipment manufacturer established in 1968 serving similar industries, enhancing scale and consolidated operations as reflected in total operating income growth to ₹137.69 crore in FY24 from ₹120.58 crore in FY23; the company also approved material related party transactions for FY25 including sales and purchases up to ₹110 crore with Veljan Hydrair Ltd and job work up to ₹35 crore with others, alongside a final dividend of ₹8.50 per share post-bonus issue in 2024.
