Guoco Group Limited (0053.HK) is an investment holding company engaged in principal investments, property development and investment, hospitality and leisure, and financial services businesses. The Principal Investment segment conducts debt, equity, and direct investments alongside treasury operations with trading and strategic positions in global capital markets; the Property Development and Investment segment develops residential and commercial properties and holds assets for rental income in key markets including Singapore, China, Malaysia, and Hong Kong; the Hospitality and Leisure segment owns, leases, operates, and manages hotels under the Clermont, Thistle, and Guoman brands while running gaming and leisure operations in the United Kingdom and Spain, encompassing digital channels such as Mecca bingo clubs, Grosvenor Casinos, and Enracha online games; and the Financial Services segment, primarily through associates, delivers commercial, consumer, Islamic, and investment banking services as well as life and general insurance, Takaful insurance, fund management, unit trusts, corporate advisory, and stock broking. Other activities encompass royalty entitlements from Bass Strait oil and gas production; manufacture, marketing, and distribution of health products including honey, propolis, and royal jelly through Manuka Health New Zealand Limited; operation of car parking spaces and oil palm estates; development and maintenance of online gaming software; and provision of general management, property management, marketing, consultancy, training, and support services for interactive gaming. The company, incorporated in 1990 and headquartered at 50/F The Center, 99 Queen's Road Central, Central, Hong Kong, operates principally in Hong Kong, the People's Republic of China, the United Kingdom, Continental Europe, Singapore, Australasia, Malaysia, Vietnam, and internationally, serving a diverse customer base across institutional investors, property tenants, hospitality guests, gaming patrons, and financial clients; Guoco Group Limited functions as a subsidiary of Guoline Overseas Limited. In recent developments, subsidiary GuocoLand, in which Guoco Group holds a 66.8% stake, expanded its property management capabilities through GuocoLand Property Management Pte. Ltd. (GPML) as of November 2025; GuocoLand and its joint venture partner acquired a site in Springleaf, Singapore, in April 2024 for the biodiversity-sensitive Springleaf Residence condominium, launched in August 2025 with 92% take-up at launch and targeted completion in 2029; and in fiscal year 2025, GuocoLand secured four new development sites in Singapore at Margaret Drive, Faber Walk, Tengah Garden Avenue (via joint ventures), and River Valley Green (Parcel B, wholly owned), adding over 2,100 residential units to its pipeline following successful Lentor Hills estate launches including Lentor Modern.
