Ciena Corporation (NYSE: CIEN; LSE: 0HYA) provides networking hardware, software, and services that enable the transport, switching, aggregation, and management of voice, video, and data traffic across optical and packet-based networks for telecommunications carriers, cloud providers, and enterprises worldwide; core offerings include the 6500 family of packet-optical platforms for edge-to-core scalability, WaveLogic family optics supporting 100G to 1.6 Tb/s wavelengths, Waveserver family for compact modular transport, 8000 family for high-capacity routing and switching, WaveRouter family for IP-optical unification, coherent routers and pluggable transceivers, enterprise routers and business service platforms, broadband solutions featuring uOLT and PON support, Blue Planet cloud-native automation platform with inventory, orchestration, and AI-driven assurance modules, and managed services spanning build, operate, and improve categories.
