(NYSE: CFG; LSE: 0HYP) operates as a bank holding company providing retail and commercial banking products and services to individuals, small businesses, middle-market companies, large corporations, and institutions across the United States. The company offers deposit products including checking and savings accounts; mortgage and home equity lending; student, auto, and point-of-sale finance loans; credit cards such as the recently launched Citizens Edge commercial credit card for middle-market companies featuring flexible limits, cash back rewards, and digital management tools; business loans; wealth management and investment services; commercial lending and leasing; treasury management; foreign exchange; interest rate and commodity risk management; loan syndication; corporate finance; merger and acquisition advisory; and debt and equity capital markets capabilities. Citizens operates through Consumer Banking and Commercial Banking segments with approximately 1,000 branches in 14 states including Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Virginia, as well as Washington, DC; it was founded in 1828 and is headquartered in Providence, Rhode Island.
