Business
JetBlue Airways Corporation is a low-cost airline providing passenger air transportation services to more than 100 destinations across the United States, Caribbean, Latin America, and Europe; its core offerings include point-to-point flights on an all-Airbus fleet comprising A320 family aircraft and A321neo models equipped with Mint premium cabins featuring lie-flat seats, free high-speed Wi-Fi, live television at every seat, complimentary snacks and beverages, and the TrueBlue loyalty program enabling customers to earn and redeem points. Headquartered in Long Island City, New York, the company was incorporated in Delaware in August 1998 and commenced operations in February 2000 with a focus on high-value markets from hubs including New York John F. Kennedy International Airport and focus cities such as Boston Logan, Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International, and Orlando International. JetBlue serves leisure and business travelers with differentiated amenities and competitive pricing, operating approximately 1,000 daily flights and employing over 22,000 crewmembers. In recent developments, JetBlue sold its venture capital subsidiary JetBlue Ventures to SKY Leasing in May 2025 to sharpen focus on core airline operations while retaining a strategic partnership; expanded significantly at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport with nine new nonstop routes and increased frequencies on nine others starting late 2025, positioning it as the leading carrier there for the winter season; launched an interline partnership with United Airlines in fall 2025 to enhance loyalty point earning and redemption options; broadened its transatlantic network with new 2026 summer seasonal flights from Boston to Barcelona, Milan, Paris, Amsterdam, London, Madrid, and Edinburgh using A321 and A350 aircraft with premium Mint suites; and extended its codeshare with Condor to over 70 European destinations for TrueBlue members.
