Business
Wang On Properties Limited (1243.HK) is an investment holding company principally engaged in property development, property investment, and asset management in Hong Kong. The company develops and sells residential properties under brands including "the met." series such as Acappella and the met. Azure, "Nouvelle" series including Maya, and Meister House and Godi; it also develops commercial properties under the "LADDER" series such as LADDER Dundas and acquires existing buildings for demolition, redevelopment, or long-term investment, leasing, or sale of commercial and industrial premises; additionally, it provides asset management, securities investment, and financial services. Incorporated in 2015 with property investment operations tracing back to 1997 and development since 2004, Wang On Properties is headquartered at Suite 3201, 32/F, Skyline Tower, 39 Wang Kwong Road, Kowloon Bay, Kowloon, Hong Kong, and operates as a subsidiary of Wang On Group Limited (1222.HK). Recent developments include the launch of four new residential projects from January 2024 to February 2025—Phoenext in Tsz Wan Shan, Diamond Hill, and San Po Kong; 101 Kings Road in Fortress Hill; Finnie in Quarry Bay; and Coasto in Ap Lei Chau—achieving cumulative contracted sales exceeding HK$2.5 billion, with Coasto selling 65 of 85 units; in March 2025, the company secured a HK$1.015 billion three-year term loan facility from six banks including Bank of Communications (Hong Kong) Limited and Hang Seng Bank Limited for refinancing and general corporate purposes; it formed a joint venture with Angelo Gordon in 2022 to acquire and renovate pentahotel Hong Kong, Kowloon for HK$2 billion, retaining a 35% interest; and in 2021 established a joint venture with APG Asset Management committing HK$4.668 billion initially for residential developments including seed projects in Ap Lei Chau and Wong Tai Sin, alongside recent 2025 transactions involving disposal of joint venture interests and formation of new joint ventures for property acquisitions.
