It generates revenue primarily from tuition fees and boarding fees, with additional income from rental and property management, service fees, government grants, and interest; it also provides technical and management consultancy services. The company, founded in 1999 and headquartered at No. 555 Wangjiangxi Road, Hefei, Anhui Province, primarily serves the Yangtze River Delta region and targets students seeking practical skills for employment in mainstream subjects and high-demand areas. In recent developments, it added five new Sino-foreign cooperative education programs, established the University of Malaya Preparatory Center and China-Thailand International Education Cooperation Base, and deepened collaborations with universities in the UK, Mongolia, Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia; it launched the Huawei ICT Industry College, added 171 industry-academia-research projects, 33 social service projects, and 29 cooperative education bases, obtained approvals for four national-level and 14 provincial-level first-class undergraduate programs, and continues prepayments for acquiring and constructing campuses for Jiangsu School and Anhui School.
