Business
JSecurity, Inc. develops and sells information-security products and services for businesses, government agencies, educational institutions, and other organizations in Japan. Founded on January 4, 2018, through the succession of JIRAN JAPAN’s Japanese security-products business, the company is headquartered in the World Trade Center Building South Wing, 2-4-1 Hamamatsucho, Minato-ku, Tokyo, Japan, and operates as an information and communications company under Tokyo Stock Exchange code 481A. JSecurity is an affiliated company of JIRAN JAPAN, the Japanese holding company of the South Korean JIRAN group, and provides localized security products, licensing, maintenance, support, and related consulting services. The company’s product and service portfolio includes DarkWeb Check, a cloud-based continuous monitoring service that detects potential information leakage on the dark web using domain information; MudFix, a targeted-attack email training and security-education service that sends simulated attack emails to employees and supports training planning, configuration, and consulting; AppCheck, a ransomware-protection solution that uses behavior- and situation-awareness technology to detect and block unknown ransomware without relying on continuously updated pattern files and includes file backup and restoration capabilities; SPAMSNIPER and SPAMSNIPER AG, email-security solutions that block spam and virus messages and provide email and file sanitization, with support for on-premises and cloud environments; MailScreen, an email misdirection-prevention solution that automatically encrypts attachments and helps prevent accidental transmission and leakage of personal information; PC FILTER, a personal-information detection and management tool that searches PCs, file servers, and network drives and supports the isolation, encryption, and permanent deletion of sensitive data; GIGAPOD, an enterprise online-storage and file-sharing service for large-file transfer, controlled access, guest and shared folders, and protection against insecure file-transfer practices; Gate4Mobile, a mobile-access solution that enables iPad and other smart-device users to access and write to internal file servers; and Security One, an information-security education-content platform addressing current cybersecurity issues. During 2024-2026, JSecurity expands its distribution and strategic activities. In March 2024, Canon IT Solutions begins offering AppCheck through its SOLTAGE IT-infrastructure service, extending JSecurity’s ransomware-protection offering through the Canon Marketing Japan group. In March 2025, Canon IT Solutions also begins offering MudFix through SOLTAGE, broadening the company’s channel reach for targeted-attack email training and security education. In September 2025, JSecurity invests in STONE.B, operator of the mahocast online-entertainment platform, to combine JSecurity’s security expertise with STONE.B’s digital-entertainment capabilities and pursue safer distribution solutions, creator support, and new domestic and international business models. JSecurity lists its shares on the Tokyo Pro Market on December 24, 2025. In October 2025, the company launches a MudFix training-outsourcing service under which technical staff configure exercises and customize training emails for customers. In July 2026, JSecurity begins offering an offline-environment version of AppCheck, extending ransomware protection to customers operating systems without continuous network connectivity.
