Business
Shanghai Topcare Medical Services Co., Ltd. (600532.SS) operates outpatient centers, specialist centers, imaging centers, and health management centers that provide professional medical services including health management, disease diagnosis and treatment, green pass referral, remote consultation, and postoperative rehabilitation; it also engages in coal trading. Founded in 1999 and headquartered at 21/F, Building T1, Jinkong Plaza, 1788-1800 Century Avenue in Shanghai, China, the company conducts its operations primarily in mainland China. Formerly known as Shanghai Hongda Mining Co., Ltd., it changed its name to Shanghai Topcare Medical Services Co., Ltd. in December 2020 to reflect its strategic shift from bulk commodity trading, iron ore mining, and iron concentrate sales toward medical services. In 2021, a unit signed a framework agreement to acquire a 29.87% stake in Shanghai Medical Centre for CNY 896 million and agreed to buy Fullerton Healthcare for S$700-800 million; however, the company entered a delisting arrangement period in May 2023, culminating in delisting from the Shanghai Stock Exchange effective June 28, 2023.
