(8041.TWO) manufactures and markets a range of precision electric motors and related components; its core products include hybrid stepping motors and drivers, servo motors and servo drivers, brushless DC (BLDC) motors, permanent magnet DC (PMDC) motors, controllers, and stepping drivers. The company serves diverse applications in office automation equipment such as fax machines and scanners; factory automation including semiconductor testing machines; consumer products like power-driven games and ATMs; medical devices including power-driven bicycles; and industrial machinery across North America, Northeast Asia, Southeast Asia, Mainland China, Europe, and other global markets. In April 2024, parent company TECO Electric & Machinery Co., Ltd. acquired the remaining 40.44% stake in TECO Electro Devices for approximately TWD 240-250 million, achieving full ownership and consolidating its position within the group's motor production portfolio. The company's motors emphasize high magnetic-inductive materials, low noise, low vibration, and smooth torque performance, supporting OEM/ODM partnerships primarily with U.S. and European customers.
