Accor SA is a France-based world-leading hospitality group that owns, manages, and franchises more than 5,700 hotels and resorts with approximately 850,000 rooms across 110 countries, operating through two main divisions, Premium, Midscale and Economy, and Luxury & Lifestyle; its extensive portfolio encompasses over 45 hotel brands including luxury brands such as Orient Express, Raffles, Fairmont, and Sofitel; premium brands like Pullman and Swissôtel; midscale brands such as Novotel and Mercure; and economy brands including Ibis and HotelF1, alongside lifestyle offerings through Ennismore with brands like 25hours and Mama Shelter, as well as digital solutions for independent hotels, concierge services, corporate booking platforms, and luxury home rentals via a global network of 5,000 addresses. The company, founded in 1967 and headquartered in Issy-les-Moulineaux, France, serves diverse customer segments from leisure travelers and business guests to upscale diners and event organizers, with significant operations in Europe, North Africa, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, and the Americas. Recent developments include the acquisition of a 51% stake in Rikas Restaurants Management LLC in March 2024 to bolster high-end dining management in Dubai; the sale of its Accor Vacation Club timeshare business to Travel + Leisure in March 2024 for asset-light optimization; strengthened strategic partnerships such as with Amadeus in June 2024 for central reservation system deployment across its portfolio and with LVMH in June 2024 for Orient Express brand expansion into hotels, trains, and sailboats; addition of Our Habitas to the Ennismore lifestyle collective in June 2024; a €600 million seven-year bond issue in March 2024 and €500 million perpetual hybrid bond in August 2024 to extend debt maturity; and robust 2024 growth with 293 hotel openings adding 50,000 rooms, 27 new signings in Asia year-to-date through mid-2025, and record revenue of €5.6 billion alongside recurring EBITDA of €1.12 billion.
