(Ticker: ACR.F) operates as a leading French multinational hospitality company that owns, manages, franchises hotels, resorts, and vacation properties across more than 110 countries with over 5,700 properties and approximately 850,000 rooms. Founded in 1967 by Paul Dubrule and Gérard Pélisson and headquartered in Issy-les-Moulineaux, France, the company offers an unrivaled portfolio of over 45 brands spanning luxury (Orient Express, Raffles, Fairmont, Sofitel, MGallery), premium (Pullman, Swissôtel, Mövenpick, Grand Mercure), midscale (Novotel, Mercure, Adagio, Tribe, Handwritten Collection), economy (ibis, ibis Styles, ibis budget, hotelF1, greet), and lifestyle collections through its Ennismore joint venture (including 25hours, The Hoxton, SLS, Rixos); it also provides complementary services via specialized subsidiaries such as D-Edge for digital hospitality solutions, onefinestay for short-term luxury rentals, John Paul for concierge and loyalty services, ResDiary for restaurant reservations, Potel & Chabot for upscale catering, and Wojo for coworking spaces. Accor targets diverse customer segments from luxury leisure travelers and business guests to budget-conscious economy users, with strong geographic operations in Europe, Asia-Pacific, the Americas, Middle East, and Africa. In recent developments, Accor strengthened its presence in India through a major partnership with InterGlobe announced in April 2025, forming a joint platform to expand to 300 hotels by 2030 across all segments including luxury and Ennismore brands, while jointly investing as largest shareholders in Treebo to develop ibis and Mercure; the company also entered exclusive negotiations in April 2025 to acquire 17 management agreements (3,200 rooms) from Royal Holiday Group, adding all-inclusive resorts in Mexico under Ennismore and hotels in Mexico, Argentina, Puerto Rico, and the USA. Further expansions include a master development agreement with Mayan Properties for five hotels adding over 1,100 keys in Sub-Saharan Africa, accelerated franchise growth by 12% since 2018 in markets like Thailand, China, and the Caribbean for brands such as Mövenpick and Mercure, and a June 2024 strategic investment from LVMH in the Orient Express brand; additionally, Accor launched Orient Express Silenseas luxury cruises with delivery planned for 2026 and grew its ALL loyalty platform to over 100 million members in 2025. The company continues asset-light strategies, including full ownership of SBE hotel assets in 2020 and ongoing restructuring into Economy/Midscale/Premium and Luxury/Lifestyle units.
