Business
Arbonia AG supplies building components for interior design and indoor climate solutions across Europe. The company manufactures and distributes wood and glass doors, including premium CPL interior doors, functional doors, specialty doors, door frames, and metal frames; shower cubicles and enclosures; room partitioning systems such as wall systems and industrial partitions; and glass solutions like building glass and custom glass doors. Arbonia AG operates through 17 specialized subsidiaries producing in state-of-the-art European factories, targeting architects, interior designers, construction professionals, and project developers in residential, public, and commercial sectors. Founded in 1874 and headquartered in Arbon, Switzerland, the company maintains production and sales facilities in Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Spain, Portugal, Poland, Czech Republic, and France. In October 2025, Arbonia AG acquires Portuguese market leader Cicomol SA for premium doors and German manufacturer Rüthener Zargenbau GmbH for metal door frames; in May 2024, it completed the acquisition of Spanish door leader Dimoldura Group and Czech contractor services firm Lignis s.r.o.; and in February 2025, it sold its Climate division to Midea Group.
