The company, founded in 2012 and headquartered at 20 Holly Street, Suite 300 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, with design, development and manufacturing operations based in Carlsbad, California, primarily serves orthopedic surgeons, neurosurgeons and pain management specialists worldwide through a focus on patient-centric, regenerative technologies for cervical, thoracolumbar and SI joint applications. In October 2025, Aurora Spine launched Aurora Biologics, a new division offering comprehensive allograft solutions to enhance spinal fusion outcomes and integrate with existing portfolios including ZIP, Hydra A.E.R.O., DEXA and SiLO systems, positioning the company as a vertically integrated provider; earlier in 2025, it secured FDA 510(k) clearance for the Aero facet fusion system, completed enrollment in the Refine study for lumbar interlaminar fusion, and appointed Matt Paxton as executive vice president of sales and Katelyn Sims as area vice president of commercialization and key accounts.
