Founded in 1986 and headquartered at Suite 1, Level 1, 680 Murray Street, West Perth, Western Australia, the firm focuses on undervalued opportunities offering deep value and near-term upside; it targets sectors including energy such as oil, gas, coal, alternatives and renewables; metals including gold, iron ore, copper and rare earths; other mineral resources; technologies and services particularly in resources and mining; fast-growing creative and information-based businesses; and distressed, turnaround or pre/post-insolvency situations, primarily in companies with market capitalizations under A$100 million and a sweet spot up to A$30 million.
