CA Sales Holdings Limited (JSE: CAA) is a holding company specializing in fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) services, distribution, and retail execution across Southern and East Africa. The company offers a comprehensive suite of services including warehousing, in-store execution, transport and logistics, sales, merchandising, technology and data services, shopper marketing, brand strategy development, point-of-sale solutions, retail training, and select debtor services; it distributes consumer products such as food, home care, personal care, consumer durables, snacks and confectionery, paper products, beverages, pet care, alcoholic beverages, frozen foods, and tobacco products and accessories. Incorporated in 2011 and headquartered in Centurion, South Africa, CA Sales Holdings operates in Botswana, Eswatini, Namibia, South Africa, Lesotho, Mauritius, Zambia, Zimbabwe, and has expanded into East Africa including Kenya; it serves blue-chip manufacturers by enhancing on-shelf availability, market share, and volume growth for world-renowned brands. Recent strategic developments include the 2023 acquisitions of T&C Group and Taeuber & Corssen in Namibia for R65 million to bolster distribution and retail execution, MarketMax in South Africa for R11.5 million to enter the pharmaceutical channel, and increasing its stake in Smithshine Enterprises in Botswana to 100%; in 2024, the company acquired a 49% stake in Roots Sales (Pty) Ltd for R70 million to broaden its informal market channel in South Africa. In early 2025, CA Sales Holdings acquired a 35% stake in Tradco Services Ltd (also referred to as Tatco) in Kenya with an option to increase ownership, marking further East African expansion, alongside a 53.3% stake in Mac Marketing; these moves support ongoing channel broadening, organic growth, and revenue targets exceeding R20 billion by 2026, evidenced by 10.6% revenue growth to R12.52 billion for the year ended December 2024. The group continues to integrate these acquisitions while investing in warehouse capacity and technology to drive operational efficiency amid economic challenges.
