The company produces and markets extra virgin olive oil under its core brands Cobram Estate and Red Island; operates olive groves, mills, bottling facilities, storage, nurseries, and laboratories; and pursues innovation in value-added products from olive by-products such as biomass for renewable energy and soil amendments. It maintains extensive operations including over 2.6 million olive trees on 7,000 hectares in Victoria, Australia, with two on-site mills processing 112 tonnes per hour and 11 million litres storage at Lara headquarters; in the United States, over 765,000 trees on 1,011 hectares across California ranches like Debo, Hungry Hollow, and Dunnigan Hills, supported by a Woodland facility with 64 tonnes per hour milling and 4.5 million litres storage; and exports to customers in 12 to 17 countries. Founded in 1998 and headquartered at 151 Broderick Road, Lara, Victoria, the company targets retail, wholesale, and commercial customers in food, agribusiness, and international markets with a focus on sustainable farming practices. In September 2025, it completed a A$175 million institutional placement to fund US expansion, acquiring land and developing 1,600 additional hectares of olive groves in California by end-2027 to reach 3,600 hectares total and yield over nine million litres annually at maturity; it also launched a A$10 million share purchase plan and continues planting, with recent activity in autumn 2024.
