- PT Communication Cable Systems Indonesia Tbk (CCSI) manufactures and sells premium fiber optic cables and related products for telecommunications and infrastructure applications in Indonesia and internationally. The company produces a wide range of fiber optic cables including submarine repeater and repeaterless types such as light weight, light weight protected, single armor, and double armor; aerial cables like ADSS, figure 8, central loose tube, ADSS FRP armor anti-rodent, and FTTH drop cables; duct cables comprising non-metallic, metallic, flare flex, and direct buried single and double jacket; specialized cables such as galvanized steel wire armored (GSWA), fire resistance, flame retardant, and optical sensor cables; high-density polyethylene (HDPE) products including subduct, macroduct, microduct, water pipes compliant with ISO 4427 and SNI standards, food grade pipes, and reinforced thermoplastic pipes (RTP) for oil and gas; as well as optical cable accessories, installation and splicing services, restoration and maintenance, engineering procurement construction (EPC), total network connectivity solutions, and training services. CCSI serves the internet, telecommunications, oil and gas, utilities, and rail industries from its headquarters in Jakarta and manufacturing facility in Kawasan Industri Krakatau, Cilegon, Banten, with an annual fiber optic production capacity of 2.5 million kilometers. Founded in 1996 as PT Siemens Optical Cable in a joint venture with Siemens AG Germany and later acquired by Corning Inc USA before passing to CCS International, the company maintains a long-term partnership with Corning, the world's largest optical fiber supplier. In December 2024, CCSI established two new subsidiaries, PT CCSI Niagatama Digital for telecommunications tools wholesale and installation, and PT Lucky Joint Indonesia for telecommunication cables, internet services, installations, and network construction, expanding its operational scope amid ongoing diversification into microcabling technologies and FAST pipe products launched in 2014.
