Business
Coreo AG is a Frankfurt am Main-based real estate investment company focused on the acquisition, development, management and strategic optimization of residential and commercial properties in Germany. Founded in 2003 and formerly known as Nanostart AG, the company, headquartered at Bleichstraße 64 in Frankfurt am Main, targets value-add assets in medium-sized urban centers and major metropolitan areas such as Frankfurt, Wiesbaden, Gießen, Kiel, Wuppertal, Bielefeld, Gelsenkirchen, Göttingen and others; its portfolio features key properties including the St. Martin Tower commercial asset with 26,128 square meters of lettable space at 99% occupancy, residential complexes like Wiesbaden's Im Mühltal totaling 17,270 square meters at 100% occupancy, and various mixed-use sites offering services in strategic asset management to enhance property value through the "manage to core" approach across life cycles, with individual or portfolio investments typically ranging from €5 million to €20 million. Coreo AG serves institutional and private investors in the German real estate market, emphasizing residential properties with appreciation potential via refurbishment, repositioning and selective opportunistic buys for short-term flips or medium-term portfolio growth. Recent developments include the acquisition of a land portfolio announced in December 2024, the sale of a property in Bruchsal in November 2024 and two additional properties in April 2024, ordinary capital reductions in January 2025 and June 2024 to strengthen the balance sheet, release of full-year 2024 earnings in May 2025 showing ongoing portfolio expansion alongside half-year IFRS results in November 2025, and a management board change announced on November 27, 2025.
