In recent developments, Coromandel completed the acquisition of a 53% majority stake in NACL Industries Limited in August 2025 for approximately Rs 820 crore, enhancing its crop protection portfolio with branded formulations, technical exports, and contract manufacturing capabilities while integrating new leadership for accelerated growth. The company signed a long-term Memorandum of Understanding with Saudi Arabia's Ma'aden in April 2025 for di-ammonium phosphate supply, bolstering raw material security amid global disruptions. Additionally, Coromandel announced plans in November 2025 to invest Rs 2,000 crore in a new fertilizer manufacturing project in Andhra Pradesh, incorporating green ammonia and green hydrogen production alongside capacity expansion.
