Business
CSG N.V. (CSG.AS) is a diversified industrial holding company focused on manufacturing and services in the defense, aviation, rail, energy, and automotive sectors. The company offers a broad portfolio of products and services, including military vehicles and equipment such as Tatra trucks, Pandur wheeled armored vehicles, and artillery systems; aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services through its aviation division; rail freight cars, locomotives, and infrastructure solutions; gas turbines, compressors, and power generation equipment; as well as automotive components and assemblies. CSG operates primarily in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Ukraine, and other European and international markets, with production facilities and service centers across these regions. Founded in 1990 as Czechoslovak Group a.s. and headquartered in Prague, Czech Republic, the company has grown through strategic acquisitions and organic expansion. Recent developments include the 2024 acquisition of the rail business from Škoda Transportation, enhancing its rolling stock portfolio; a major partnership with Rheinmetall for ammunition production announced in 2025; expansion of defense exports to NATO allies amid heightened geopolitical demand; and a significant funding round in late 2025 to support new aviation MRO capabilities for Western fighter jets.
