Business
CZR Resources Ltd (ASX:CZR) is a multi-commodity mineral exploration and development company focused on high-quality assets in Western Australia. The company explores and develops iron ore, gold, copper, vanadium, titanium and base metals; key projects include the Croydon gold deposits and Yarrie gold project in the Pilbara region, the Buddadoo copper-vanadium deposit in the Yilgarn region east of Geraldton, and iron ore assets at Yarraloola, Shepherds Well and the former Robe Mesa project in the Pilbara. CZR Resources Ltd, founded in 2003 and headquartered in Perth, primarily targets feedstock minerals for steel mills and serves institutional investors and mining partners across Australia. In recent developments, the company completed the sale of its Robe Mesa iron ore project for A$75 million to the Robe River JV, comprising Rio Tinto, Mitsui & Co and Nippon Steel Corporation, providing enhanced financial flexibility as announced in September 2025. Earlier, CZR Resources Ltd signed a A$102 million deal to sell its majority interest in Robe Mesa to a subsidiary of Shenzhen Naao Jianglan Investment Company, though the latest transaction superseded prior arrangements including a rejected Fenix Resources acquisition bid. These divestitures follow strategic land acquisitions adjacent to Rio Tinto's operations and high-grade assay results confirming resource growth at Robe Mesa, alongside gold nugget discoveries at Croydon, positioning the company for further Pilbara and Yilgarn advancements.
