Business
Essentra plc manufactures and distributes essential plastic injection moulded, vinyl dip moulded and metal components worldwide; its core products encompass protective caps and plugs, access hardware, cable management solutions, plastic fasteners, electronics hardware, other hardware items, and security seals, serving industries including automotive and EV charging, renewable energy, medical devices, construction and agriculture, automation, telecoms, consumer equipment, and other industrial equipment. Headquartered in Kidlington, Oxford, United Kingdom, the company, founded in 2005, operates through a global network spanning 28 countries with approximately 3,000 employees, 14 manufacturing facilities, 26 distribution centres, 37 sales and service centres, and supplies around 64,000 customers across EMEA, Americas, and APAC regions. In recent strategic shifts, Essentra completed the sale of its Filters business in September 2025 and previously divested its Packaging business in 2022, transforming into a pure-play components provider focused on enhancing growth and market share in essential industrial components; the company maintains ongoing share buyback programs, such as the October 2024 repurchase, and published half-year results to June 2025 affirming unchanged FY25 expectations.
