Business
FBR Limited (ASX:FBR) designs, develops, builds and operates dynamically stabilized robots leveraging proprietary Dynamic Stabilisation Technology (DST) to perform complex tasks in uncontrolled outdoor environments, targeting construction, maritime, industrial and other sectors for safer, more efficient and sustainable operations. Core products include Hadrian X, the world's first autonomous bricklaying robot that constructs structural walls faster, more accurately and with reduced wastage than manual methods using adhesive bonding; Mantis, a long-reach welding robot delivering up to four times productivity gains on large-scale applications; and DST-enabled solutions adaptable for custom automation needs. The Perth-headquartered company, founded in 1982 and based in High Wycombe, Western Australia, primarily serves residential and commercial construction markets in Australia and pursues international expansion including the United States and shipbuilding collaborations. Recent developments encompass a A$22 million financing package in August 2025 via a A$20 million Share Subscription Facility with GEM Global Yield LLC SCS, a A$1 million placement and share purchase plan; a A$7.8 million Hadrian X purchase order from Northern Territory builder Habitat; progression of Wall as a Service (WaaS) model through its 50:50 joint venture Fastbrick Australia with Brickworks; and a strategic partnership with Samsung Heavy Industries for DST applications in shipbuilding; alongside a proposed issuance of 94.7 million securities in December 2025 to support commercialization and growth.
